A selection of new and vintage monoprints, etchings and limited edition silkscreen prints from the Self Help Graphics & Art collection will also be available for purchase.

HARD N DA PAINT is a music workshop development series at Self Help Graphics & Art. HNDP students work together for 8 consecutive weeks to program their own music event! Work with HNDP instructor P-Flax of ShortySons films, or freestyle with HNDP regulars like Alders aka "Ghin N Guece" and D-Low the "King Darius". Friday sessions @ SHG also include: Freestyling (improvisational music), Live Instrument Jam sessions (Bring your instrument!), Video production - filming, lighting and editing, Music Production - recording and instrumental compositions, and plenty of space for Break Dancing

Learn how to create stencils and applying them to various surfaces, so bring your bike helmets, skateboards, t-shirts, backpack or anything you want to apply your custom hand cut stencil too.

The East Los Angeles Society of Film and Arts (TELA SOFA) presents its 3rd Annual East LA International and Youth Film Festival. Screening short and feature films produced by East LA youth along with professional filmmakers and students from around the world. Includes award ceremony honoring teens with "El Angel Conscience Art Award."

Screenings at Self Help Graphics on Nov. 12 at 7 PM for "Inspired" directed by Charlie Gage & Philippes Sandwiches directed by James Hanlos. Starring Rico Rodriguez (of ABC's Modern Family) and Julia Vera.

Please note: Free screenings at Mariachi Plaza, Boyle Heights on Nov. 11 at 6PM.
