Self Help Graphics & Art will present its 38th Annual Día de los Muertos Exhibition, Revival, curated by Patssi Valdez, from Oct. 28 - Nov. 30.  

This year, artists are invited to submit work to be considered for inclusion in the exhibition. Working from creative interpretations of the concept of "Revival", artists are asked to submit original art without constraints, without boundaries.

Guidelines for Submission

-EMAIL no more than 3 high res (300dpi) jpegs of proposed work, along with artist biography to info@selfhelpgraphics.com. All media accepted up to 6 ft x 10 ft.

-DEADLINE September 20, 2011. Emails received after this date will not be considered. 

Selected artists will be notified of inclusion in the exhibit no later than September 27, 2011

Day of the Dead is a time of celebration and remembrance. The theme of this year’s show is Revival in celebration of SHG’s new home in Boyle Heights. The iconography and aesthetics unique to this Holiday have always been an inspiration in my own work as well. I am honored to be curating the 2011 Day of the Dead Show.
