Self Help Graphics & Art Celebrates the Maexican Revolution Centennial!

collection of art that celebrates the Mexican Revolution Centennial and acts of
revolution in the kitchen.


Exhibition Opening: Saturday, Sept. 18, 5 pm
The exhibition opens with a screening of Like Water for Chocolate at 5 pm, followed by chocolate y pan, and a short talk with CSULA History & Latin American Studies teacher Enrique Ochoa, whose main focus are issues of power & culture in the tortilla industry and revoluciĆ³n. He is the author of Feeding Mexico: The Political Uses of Food Since 1910.  Come feed your mind and your soul.


Performance by the Border Corps: Saturday, Oct. 2, 7 pm, $10 donation
The Border Corps performs La Vida Aktion Drawing- A performance and life drawing experience rolled into one! Be ready to draw, bring your sketch book and get $5 off.
